The rafting route typically covers about 5 kilometers, featuring a series of Grade 2 to Grade 3 rapids — just enough to get your heart racing while still being safe and fun for first-timers. Along the way, you’ll navigate swirling waters, splash through thrilling rapids, and enjoy calmer stretches where you can take in the breathtaking scenery and spot tropical birds or monkeys in the treetops.

White water rafting is an adventurous water sport where you navigate an inflatable boat (raft) through fast-moving rapids, paddling as a team to control its movement. It combines excitement, teamwork, and a bit of thrill to conquer the powerful flow of the river.

The Kelani River in Kitulgala is perfect for this, thanks to its scenic jungle surroundings and ideal rapids.
